Golden Peacock Castle Collection
The "Shin Shokoku Monogatari" (新諸国物語) series is a classic 1960s Japanese film franchise based on radio dramas. Set in Japan's feudal era, the films blend historical drama, adventure, and folklore, following legendary tales of heroes and samurai on quests for justice, treasure, and honor. The plots often focus on brave protagonists who face rival clans, evil warlords, and mythical creatures, engaging in dramatic sword fights and battles of good versus evil. One notable story arc is "Golden Peacock Castle" (黄金孔雀城), where the hero searches for a hidden treasure within a dangerous castle, encountering enemies, treacherous terrains, and fantastical challenges that test their strength and resolve.
